Project Background
Argentina sits at the core of South America's "Lithium Triangle," a strategic global lithium hub. An international mining company holding exploration rights in the area needed to assess the rights' value in the shortest possible time to support its investment decision. The target area covered 4.35 km².
Technical Approach
Deep-Explor® applied satellite remote AI detection technology, unconstrained by the complex terrain of the Andes, performing full-coverage scanning and AI inversion analysis of the target area.
Timeline: May 15 to July 12, 2024 — 58 days.
Detection Results
A total of 17 potential polymetallic anomaly zones were delineated:
| Mineral | Anomaly Zones |
|---|---|
| Copper (Cu) | Multiple |
| Molybdenum (Mo) | Multiple |
| Gold (Au) | Multiple |
| Lithium (Li) | Multiple |
Ore-body depths were preliminarily estimated to range from 0 to 350 m.
Client Value
- Provided key geological evidence for strategic positioning in South America's Lithium Triangle
- Completed detection in 58 days, far faster than traditional ground exploration
- Assessed 4 key minerals in a single detection campaign
