Project Background
In 2021, a Chinese private mining company held gold exploration rights in a region of Guinea, Africa. Due to the global pandemic, the company was unable to send a team of geological experts to the site for traditional exploration. Facing time constraints and investment-decision pressure, the client sought a non-invasive remote exploration solution.
Technical Approach
The Deep-Explor® team applied targeted ultra-weak NMR AI detection technology to carry out:
- High-precision remote sensing data acquisition
- Exclusion of interference from geological cover such as "gossan"
- AI data analysis and anomaly extraction of gold-element spin-field signals
Detection Results
A total of 12 potential gold anomaly targets were successfully delineated. After drilling the anomaly targets, core data confirmed gold mineralization to varying degrees, with a single hole verifying up to seven ore layers — providing clear target guidance for the client's subsequent exploration engineering.
Client Value
- Obtained reliable exploration targets despite being unable to conduct fieldwork
- Substantially shortened the exploration cycle
- Reduced the cost risk of blind exploration
